KEXP DJ headshots

You probably don't know that I've been shooting all the headshots for the staff of KEXP 90.3 FM. Above are a few pictures of the new employees. You can find all the head shots at http://www.kexp.org . Go to Play List at the top and then choose any kexp DJ, host or employee to view photograph.

I love kexp and being able to shoot portraits of all the staff is a joy they are an amazing group of people to work with and for.

Pony dog RIP one year

collage of camera phone images.
Pony dogs last summers with my nephew William in the heat of an Aug. day in Eastern Washington, Grams house.

It's been one year since Pony dog passed away so I wanted to post a little note about all the great things about Pony and why everyone loved her.

she was well behaved and so so smart
she was shy but chatty when she got to know you
she was beautiful and proud
she had lots of friends, mostly humans and was good to my nephews
she always made me smile and never hurt my feelings
she had a quiet snore and got up when I did in the morning
she never had to be on lead and responded to you when you talked to her
she stopped on a dime if I said, "no" as she spied a cat
she was a great spooner and took up most the bed
she was protective and always watched over me and any of my family and friends
she was fun and happy all the time, always ready to go for an adventure.
she was sensitive and sweet.
and she loved to roll around in the grass and rub her face, this made me happy as she was so happy doing it.

Vienna

This painting by Margaret MacDonald is so beautiful to see. This photo doesn't even start to give you the amazing feeling you get when viewing it in person. She inspired Klimt and Schiele but of course is not well known.

One of my favorite artists Egon
Schiele since I discovered him in 1989.

They have finally made him a museum that is really all about him. The new Leopold in Vienna hold tons of
Schiele prints and paintings. The last time I went to view his works in Vienna most were in a tiny building in a small room with no windows. The Belvedere Museum collection also has many large pieces along with Gustav Klimt famous works.
